Every year in August, we celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of C-Park. Since we did not want to skip the tradition of celebrating an anniversary and considering the prevailing COVID 19 situation, C-Park organized a virtual celebration. C-Park successfully turned three on 15th August 2021. With the deepest pride and greatest pleasure C-Park celebrated its 3rd anniversary with friends, families, participants, and special guests through Google Meet.
Another year, Another celebration!
The celebration started at 10:30 AM with an inaugural speech delivered by a proud volunteer of C-Park, greeting the gathering and acknowledging their presence at the event. Rev. Fr. Dr. Peter Thumma, a parish priest of the Holy Trinity Church, Golden George Nagar was among us who blessed the occasion with his prayerful words. Followed by the prayer, two key deeds of the year rendered by C-Park were highlighted by the vibrant host of the event. He requested the gathering to continue praying for our services and to contribute in whatever way possible to change and save lives.
We arranged for an enlightening webinar on ‘Mental Well-being Matters’ to help people understand that Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being and affects how we think, feel, and act as a whole, especially during tough times like COVID 19. Dr. Sahithyaa was the key speaker who provided ample encouragement to follow optimistic practices emphasized the different ways to handle stress and lead a healthy life. It was a highly interactive session, and she was patient enough to cover every aspect of mental wellness.
The happiness of celebrating the 3rd Anniversary of C-Park magnified when the video comprising our services and achievements throughout the journey of C-Park was played. Multiple emotions of joy, happiness, motivation, and willingness to serve more people were exchanged among the audiences as they watched the video. Swiftly, we moved on to the next awaited segment of the event, which was the winner declaration session.
C-Park conducted a self-motivating, 30 days self-care challenge between 1st June 2021 and 30th June 2021, in which 20+ participants actively took part. 3 participants were selected namely, Christilda Preethi K. S., Roselin Jebaraj, and C. K. Jagruti and awarded exciting cash awards for their creativity and prioritizing their mental wellness for those 30days. Winners were congratulated and appreciated and were offered an opportunity to share their happiness during which they affirmed to continue the challenge.
Another interesting suggestion contest was organized by C-Park, just before the anniversary celebration between 1st August and 10th August 2021. The theme ‘What do you expect from C-Park’ based on our Services – Self-empowerment, Career guidance, Mental well-being, and Relationship Management – was well understood by the participants. The suggestions provided by the winners were presented and honored by Dr. Sahithyaa and a total of 5 best suggestion providers were awarded cash awards.
Ms. Chazhoor Vineetha Vincent was awarded for giving the best suggestions to self-empower a person; Mrs. Viji Rosaline Rajakumar received an award for providing exceptional suggestions in Career guidance, Ms. Rohini G Karingi was honored for suggesting practical ways to sustain mental well-being, and for the final category, Relationship Management, Mr. Deensha G., and Mrs. Solomen Jasmine Rajakumar were rewarded for putting forward realistic approach to have a healthy relationship at home, as well as, at the workplace.
The session ended with a vote of thanks delivered by one of the fervent volunteers of C-Park. She extended her heartfelt gratitude to everyone present at the event for their absolute trust and consistent support. Being India’s Independence Day, with the true spirit of patriotism, the celebration ended with our National Anthem for which everyone stood up and expressed their respect. With a grateful heart, we thanked all of them for their time and effort to be a part of the celebration and for making it a huge success.
