For children to grow up healthy, they need to be physically active. With the Covid-19 pandemic prevailing across the globe, children are exposed to online education, which has them occupied with electronic gadgets for a longer time than before. Having realized this situation, C-Park organized a live stretching session for kids through Google Meet on 12th December 2020. The primary goal was to alleviate stress and strain in kids with the help of simple and easy stretching exercises.
Since the entire event was conducted solely for kids, we gathered a group of highly energetic and radiant children to host and take over the whole session. The session was compered by Master Kavin Sai, a very young and innocent kid, who had the session highly engaging and entertaining. Miss Apsara Zenobius, a brave and exceptional child welcomed the gathering with her warm words and humble prayer. The event proceeded with the stretching session presided over by the fitness expert, Dr. Suresh Franklin (PT), Synergy Physio Care & Rehab Centre.
A few warm-up stretches along with some fun stretches for eyes, neck, and other parts were demonstrated by Dr. Suresh Franklin. The enthusiasm and positivity shown by the participants towards practicing the stretches during the session helped make our time together both productive and enjoyable. Followed by this, winners of the online poster making contest were declared, which was held in celebration of Children’s Day 2020. Posters of every participant were presented during the event as a token of appreciation and winners of the contest were honored with exciting cash awards.
The event came to an end with a thank you note delivered by Miss Smriti Lenita, a young mind with a kind heart who extended her heartfelt gratitude to everyone present at the event. Overall, the session was a huge success. With the heartwarming feedbacks that we received post-event, C-Park is thankful to every person who took the time and effort to be a part of this event.
