“She uses her wings to fly high, guard home, and most importantly, flap away negativity.”
A woman is a source of inspiration! She can transform herself into many forms, as she can play several roles at the same time and is never tired of her responsibilities. A woman can be a shoulder-to-lean-on person when someone is weak and depressed. She can be a focused and strong-minded leader when it is tough to decide on something. She can also be a person who lauds and appreciates the works of others by keeping her pride and ego at bay. Isn’t it enough to prove her efficiency and humbleness?
A woman is like a rare flower. A flower doesn’t bloom to please anyone, it doesn’t seek attention or demand your time, love, or care. However, if you give it the right amount of nourishment, you might experience the privilege of seeing it bloom with grace. The very existence of a woman adds beauty to the world. They are embodiments of strength, courage, elegance, kindness, persistence, love, passion, and beauty personified. As a token of celebrating womanhood, the International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on 8th March.
Celebrate HER – Hardworking, Empowered, Resilient!
Today, instead of talking about gender equality, women in politics, women as entrepreneurs or the financial empowerment of women, let us take a moment to celebrate HER. Looking back some 100 years ago, women now have the privilege to explore education, employment, socialization, and even chasing dreams to an extent of achieving them.
Things have certainly improved and opened the gates of freedom for a woman to dream, step out and work on their goals to accomplish them. Their radiance of optimism, determination to pursue ambition, confidence in balancing work and life, passion towards career, and many such incredible attributes have made women break down the confined nutshell. According to Forbes written in 2018, millennial women have proved to be the most financially independent women in history.
Women of Today
Women today are ambitious and strong-willed. They are becoming experts in all spheres of life. Especially, in balancing work at the home front, as well as, in their respective professions. Enrollment at universities for higher education is comparatively higher when compared to older decades and today, we may proudly find excellent achievements of women in every genre whether it is engineering, politics, teaching, business, medicine, etc.
Women have proved to break through every barrier and expand their options of studies. It is also fascinating to see that in some families, women are now given the space to prioritize work. They have the liberty to learn, work, and earn before they get married and even after marriage. However, there are still sections that need improvement like education for girl children, child marriage abolition, etc.
Conclusion
A woman evolves like a butterfly and adds beauty to her surroundings. She can do wonders if given a chance to live her dreams. Several acts and amendments have been passed to stop various kinds of exploitation against a woman but the statics have unfortunately not shown any signs of decline in harassment. There is always room for improvements and let us begin the change from ourselves. A word of appreciation and a little bit of encouragement is all a woman needs to empower herself and express her capabilities.
“Respect women for everything they do, as they deserve a better life, a better world!”
