C-Park conducted Art Contest for Children’s Homes

As a part of the Children’s Day celebration, C-Park conducted a Virtual Poster Art Contest for Children’s Homes in Chennai between 14th November 2021 and 20th November 2021. The main objective of this competition was to make children learn and understand the art of finding happiness in little things and to bring it out in the form of art. The theme of the contest was “What makes you Happy?”  Seven orphanages actively participated in the competition namely; Greater Love Children Home, Anaikkum Karangal, Children's Home of Hope, Open Door Orphanage, Avvai Home & Orphanage, Nalmanam, and Nava Jeevan Vikas. 3rd Anniversary Virtual Celebration of C-Park

  Every year in August, we celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of C-Park. Since we did not want to skip the tradition of celebrating an anniversary and considering the prevailing COVID 19 situation, C-Park organized a virtual celebration. C-Park successfully turned three on 15th August 2021. With the deepest pride and greatest pleasure C-Park celebrated its 3rd anniversary with friends, families, participants, and special guests through Google Meet. Another year, Another celebration! C-Park conducted a quick Survey on World Earth Day

  Each year, Earth Day is celebrated worldwide on April 22 to show support for our environment. This year 2021, marked the 51st anniversary of Earth Day and the theme was ‘Restore Our Earth’. C-Park conducted a survey between April 21 and April 23, 2021, highlighting the need to preserve the Earth’s resources. With the Covid-19 pandemic prevailing across the globe, we all are requested to stay home through frequent lockdowns and other Work from Home options. Having understood the current situation, C-Park emphasized how we can stay home and still extend our support to restore our Earth. The 3-day World Earth Day survey comprised ten close-ended questions and two open-ended questions. C-Park organized Stretching session exclusively for Kids

  For children to grow up healthy, they need to be physically active. With the Covid-19 pandemic prevailing across the globe, children are exposed to online education, which has them occupied with electronic gadgets for a longer time than before. Having realized this situation, C-Park organized a live stretching session for kids through Google Meet on 12th December 2020. The primary goal was to alleviate stress and strain in kids with the help of simple and easy stretching exercises. C-Park visits an Old Age Home

  “Respect, care, and tender love are what we extended to the Loving souls at the Home.” C-Park had the noble opportunity to visit and meet the old and elderly people of a Home, Subathra Old age Home in Chennai, on 22nd November 2020. The main objective of this visit was to provide companionship and emotional support to the homeless, aged people. The Old age home houses 18 elderly residents and they are taken care of by a caring and compassionate soul. We had the privilege to extend our support by providing clothing and bedclothes to the elderly people who were all above 50 years of age. Interactive Webinar on Insomnia conducted successfully

  Introduction C-Park conducted an online interactive webinar on 2nd October 2020 through Google Meet. The webinar was conducted on the subject: Insomnia (i.e.) Sleeplessness. Sometimes, we experience inadequate or poor-quality sleep accompanied by distress or impaired function which bothers us throughout the day. Most of us take it lightly and are unaware that it might be Insomnia. Insomnia is the helplessness to fall asleep or stay asleep at night, resulting in non-restorative sleep.   Introduction With immense pleasure, C-Park celebrated its second anniversary on 15th August, 2020. It was a virtual celebration through Google Meet with special guests, participants, friends, and families. Old Age Home

On 20th October 2018, C-Park makes a visit to Old Age Home at Karaikal. The famous quotes of Booth Tarkington is “Cherish all your happy moments; they make a fine cushion for old age”. We visited to old age home which was started by a nun. Around 30 Senior citizens are living in the home. We found two categories of people there, the ones who were abandoned and deserted by their families and others who were physically and mentally challenged. Whatever the case may be, the sufferers were the aged ones. Old age is also called the second childhood, and is a time one needs love and care of the near and dear.
